I've done the odd simple mileage run, but I find the sheer drive to get some these epic runs completed a little hard to fathom.
Out of curiousity, how much time do people take to research these routes and then book them? Also, is anyone tracking CPM for any of this or do you just look at the end 'prize'?
I'm not sure if this behaviour is what AC is trying to induce, but it's fascinating to see the result. Good luck to all.

My spreadsheet tracks CPM for all my flights as just flights, and I know exactly what my CPM will be for position 1-10 or 11-30 (same cost, but an extra 500k or 1M miles).

Is the update stuck? It started over an hour ago, but I can see the list still isn't sorted and not all badges have posted.
Update: It's seems to be continuing now -- just a little slow today.

That I knew, but are you the exception?
After blowing my mind for a few hours reading through the "Trick It" thread, i began to realize that at least there, repeat posters seemed to split between the 'technicians' (who used some form of home-rolled code) and the 'artists' (people who just understood the nuances of the system).
I was curious if the same is true here.

i do not use any program, just Excel (and calculator sometimes ) if you count that software
For me, I just look at the badges and start looking at prices on AC website (since I need Flex, can't use Google Flights )
Hence, that is why I stated my way or doing this is not necessary the cheapest.
I spend a few days (a few hours each) to look up all the options I have. Then also based on the number of AP miles I will get in top 11 to top 30 and see if the cpm make sense for me or not. If I can top 10, the extra 500K will be bonus.
Not sure if you read my posts before, my goal is to get SE as cheap as possible, hence, the EYW allow me start reduce my cpm down to < 2 cents (CAD) and if I get top 10, it will be under 1 cent. It will be the same as paying annual fee for higher end credit card sign-up.

Well it finally has my Oct 20-22 weekend.
Missing the rest
I guess I'll have to wait until Thursday to get my flights in.

But as someone posted in the Branded Fares thread a while back, you can still tell it to bring up a flex fare specifically without specifying the fare class letter by using "f ac..-fl" in the extensions text box.

If your goal is to phone it in, fine. But then why bother pricing it out in the first place?

I read a few threads and can't figure it out during EYW 2015, but Google Flights was easy that time (as it allow Tango)
And then try again in EYW 2016 and can't figure it out and that was one of minor reason why I didn't do EYW in 2016.
Over the last year, I did try again a few times and still cant' figure it out. I admit I didn't try very hard
