is this happening a lot lately?
Is AC cancelling more flights and combining flights in order to fill planes?
Just got off a flight from LHR to YYZ... the plane was totally filled... not an empty seat in either J or Y.... however, it was filled with quite a few unhappy passengers at what transpired.
The plane was changed to an airbus and of course new seating (from what I had booked) at check-in...BUT... quite a few people were put on this flight because the one they were originally booked on was cancelled... making for not pleasant transfers..
The lady beside me in the middle two seats of Y had a 4 month old baby and a 3 and 1/2 year old son.. She was suppose to be going to Ottawa and then on to Winnipeg...instead had to go to Toronto now and all that that entails with changing terminals and baggage etc.. poor lady.. her two little ones were a full time job, neither slept for the 7 and 1/2 hr flight to Toronto.
Also there was no way that she could make the connecting flight that AC gave her, so will have to take a later flight on to Winnipeg.
The movie was an old one "The Sting" and all these little advert things...
The washroom I visited ran out of WATER to wash your hands... I informed the FA and she said oh really? and another FA said yes I know, I can't get water at the back of the plane to make coffee... sigh...
The crew on the plane though were very nice and they worked hard bringing bottled drinking water around several times...
keeping my fingers crossed here that my plane will not be switched out of YYZ to YVR later this evening.... which has happened the past two flights from YYZ-YVR...

The 74E that you were booked on went mechanical and AC856/857 are operated with A343 until tomorrow at least.
I can assure you that the flight you'll be in 1.5 hours will remain as A330.
Have a good flight.
