15,000 mile promo question

Do due to change in business plans, I will be short 2 segments for the 15,000 mile promo. I will have 10 segments as of tomorrow. Best Websaver out of YYZ this weekend is to Sudbury for $139.00 or a total of $237.00 incl taxes. This would get me the last 2 segments at a cost of 2.9 cents per mile. Worth it, or just take the 7000 that have already posted and better luck next time?

Go do a YYZ-YXU on the weekend for $94 base fare. Leave on Sat and back on Sun. That's worth it for 8K miles.

Never mind, that has a 14 days advance purchase requirement on it.

So looks like the websavers is the way to go. For $230 - I would go get the 8K miles. But remember you have to factor in 2 nights of hotel too.

I live north of Toronto so would just drive back home once I was in Sudbury. Have access to a free car, then drive back Monday morning for flight to Toronto, then off to work.

Then I would say $300 including gases for 8K miles is not a bad deal.

Then it's even an easier decision.
