Why is 21 Aug 16's AC1160 delayed?

Why is 21 Aug 16's AC1160 delayed?
I'm scheduled to fly YEG-YYZ-BRU-BOD today. YEG-YYZ just got delayed 45 minutes, meaning a likely misconnection in YYZ (I now have 45min AC-SN), and I was wondering why.

Any suggestions on alternates? YEG-YUL-BRU-BOD has terrible TATL seat availability and I'd rather not spend 8h of my life in the back of Y

This flight is consistently delayed. Flightaware shows that in the last 12 days, this flight has been delayed by over an hour 6 times (half of those closer to 2 hour delays). I know TATL fliers love it because of it's scheduled arrival time in YYZ and international configuration (especially in J), but it isn't a dependable flight if you're connecting. In the last week, I've had two colleagues miss connections and one get re-routed because of delays on 1160.
It's disappointing. I was looking forward to having a widebody AC flight out of YEG, but avoid this flight completely.

Should have. It was delayed another 30 mins. I was in Y before and got rerouted through YUL-BRU on AC vs YYZ-BRU on SN. Whereas SN gave me 18A with a blocked neighbour and would probably have given me an upgrade to their E+ if asked, AC put me in 48H (and there's apparently nothing else left on the plane)
But I got an op up on YEG-YUL, so I guess I can't complain too much

I'm not an Altitude member, so my only option is a cost prohibitive LMU -- I'm a poor student
