24 hr international connection one way ticket rule question?
I've been on hold with AP for 15 minutes already but Im thinking I may get a quicker answer here.
On a one way ticket if I book YYZ-LHR arriving at 21:00 would a flight the next day leaving at 21:00 from LHR-JNB fit within the rule or does it have to be 23:59 hrs ? Not that it matters but this would be 2 tickets in J. I ask because I cant get this to show up as a one way even though they both show as available independently on the web site.

I can't speak for whatever voodoo logic Aeroplan will apply, but on a regular international ticket, it is 24 hours or less for a transfer. 24 hours and 1 minute (or more) creates a stopover.

Agreed with what others have said. I recently booked a flight with a cxn in London (LHR) and my connecting time is 24 hours on the nose. Considered a layover. Permitted at no extra-charge. More than 24 hours is a stopover.
