Thank you all - I thought it did show it in the past, but was surprised when the 2 flights I looked at didn't show it... 0 makes sense now
Guess I will stay at the top of the 842 list until a few hours out and switch over to 858 if things start to fill up.
rant: J7P0 with 5 days to go is super annoying inventory mgmt /rant

Not sure if this is the right place to post......but I think Expert flyer may have some errors with AC fares. I looked at Expert Flyer for todays SFO-YYZ flight on AC750 and this is what it showed. Called AC and they told me the flight was wide open with 30+ seats available. They also said there was ample J seats available, I believe she said something like 10 J seats. I will check when I board today but that seems a large discrepancy. Wondering if the fare class/family changes have had an impact

OK. Maybe Y could be different. According to Expert Flyer Y=8. If I board and see 30 free seats, I will guess that Expert Flyer has some issues. I know when I checked in there were several rows of preferred seating available. I also know that some passengers would not pay for seat selection and may get assigned later. But Y=8 means that there should be only 8 available seats in Y.

I really find it very hard to use eUpgrades these days (upgrading from PY). YYZ-GRU, YYZ-AMS, YYZ-DXB all no luck on recent trips.
Thankfully I'm booking J more and more often.

Also it is likely that if someone buys one J ticket, the inventory may go to J1 Y7.

Don't want to get my hopes up, but does this mean it's no longer J0?
Also, is the eUpgrade site down for anyone else?
I'm getting this message:

Anyway, until you're sitting in PY (bearing in mind YBYL), don't lose hope.
Also, you should probably just invest in an EF subscription. You certainly "use it" enough
