Fall 2015 route guessing...

So the announcement this week of the seasonal rouge routes I found pretty surprising (Prague, Warsaw, Glasgow, Casablanca, Budapest).

What are your next guesses for routes that haven't been announced by AC/rouge?

My guess would be AC will start to Rouge certain ML flights.

Why?

With the E90's on the way out (I realize this is delayed), that means that if they can't cut frequency enough, then uh oh. They will be flying with larger aircraft which of course has more seats. This may mean certain routes are no longer profitable on ML, so they'll Rouge them instead.

That's my guess anyways.

Rouge already serves LIR, did you mean somewhere else?

I'm a bit surprised that we don't already see YYJ-LAS or YLW-LAS...

A couple that I'd expect to see in the future as mainline 787 routes:
YYZ-JNB
YVR-MEL (may take a bit longer, as they recently announced Brisbane)

rouge:
YYC-YYT seasonal
YYC-CDG seasonal

Bear in mind that Rouge has a 50-aircraft contractual cap and guessing that they are close to 40 as it stands.

Surprised that GLA is only 3-weekly. GLA-PIK was served with daily 747's for years. Personally, I would love to see a restoration of VIE -- mainline of course.

Former European destinations no longer served:
TXL/DUS (Germany)
SUF/CIA (Italy)
SNN/BFS (Ireland)
SVO (Russia)
BHX (UK)
VIE (Austria)
ZAG (Croatia)

I'm going to guess that they reduce frequency between YVR and YYZ and eliminate my favourite 6am YVR - YYZ flight again.

edit: not favourite for aircraft, I would prefer a 777. But favourite for time.

YYZ-LOS. At least here's hoping, now that they've dipped their toe in Africa.

It will be multiple new routes to and from their nascent CENTRAL focus city of YWG.

Wow; short flight, especially for a 747 :-)
