Received 50% AQM, was expecting 100% or 125%

I am hoping for input from this forum in case I'm missing something:

-Ticketed a trip (6 legs) on UA, all UA metal, UA W rate class (which credits 100% to Aeroplan)

-Maintenance issue left us stranded (literally) on a tiny island. Station manager assured us that all United reaccomodation flights show up as Y booking class (full flex). Not just Y cabin.

-We were rebooked on a UA flight to NRT, connecting to AC2 NRT-YYZ (not a codeshare flight#). United's website which I made scerenshots of listed our used segment booking class as "W" and our reaccomodated segments as booking class "Y".

-We then were able to immediately eupgrade using 13 credits per person NRT-YYZ. The only rate classes that show 13-credit upgrades are B/Y. B and Y earn 125% AQM miles on both United and Air Canada's aeroplan partner pages.

-Three days later, Aeroplan posted at only 50% -- 3201 miles Air Canada 002 NRT-YYZ, Booking Class W

I've seen PNRs show full Y/J after being rebooked, but still credit at the ticketed fare.

In your case, it seems like you were originally scheduled to be in a W fare on UA metal, but ended up in a W fare on AC metal, is that correct?

I'm not even sure whom you'd contact about this.

Yes, booked as UA W fare, which posts to Aeroplan at 100%. (united's K fare, which posts 50%, was only slightly cheaper for the 22,000 mile itinerary)

Points posted at the AC W rate (50% int'l). But eupgrade tool showed us on the full AC Y rate, and charged me accordingly (13 credits).

Not to be picky, but "full flex" is not "Y"... "Y" is full Latitude.
