I am making a claim on my credit card insurance for a flight delay and having to purchase a hotel room for a missed connection. RBC insurance is requiring that I provide the reason for the delay from the carrier, in this case Air Canada. I have the flight notification email showing the delay, but that is not sufficient for RBC Insurance. Any ideas where I can get the official reason for the flight delay?

Click on Flight Status and enter the information (date, airline, flight #). On the next page, you will see a link "View Additional Comments" under the flight info. Click on it and you will have all the specifics about the flight (reason for delay, etc).
