This is such a lost opportunity for me... If I had such patches, I could board my TATL flight tomorrow with an "E75K Failed Star" patch, and as I cross 100k over the Atlantic, switch to a "SE100K Pending" patch

I'd like to apologize to the E75's on this thread. My issue with them was that often when I see an E75 tag, that person is younger, in better shape, better looking and has a nicer suit than me. I guess it's my own insecurity and I shouldn't take it out on people like this just because they are not SE's.
We all need to live together and if it wasn't for Jupiter stopping asteroids from crashing into earth, where would we be? I am now going to look at E75's as my protectors and every time I board Zone 1, I will waive to them and say thank you.

Tail end of a Cancun vacation and couldn't resist...wife kept me off the computer for a few days.

Flying back tonight then off to LGA on Wed morning. Any E75's want to meet and talk astronomy in the YYZ Transborder lounge on Wednesday morning?

AirCanadaFlyer

Well, after you showed up, kicked up some sand and then left, you missed a whole lot of fun. You can always read the thread to see what you've missed.

And, apparently as a nod to you, TWO other threads were started discussing the failings of Jupiter and Pluto. And unicorns.

Fun for everyone...talk of hats, patches, almost-DYKWIAs

Apology accepted from this E75. Though I will be SE once my current trip posts. And I like to think of E75 as overachieving E50s rather than failed SE specially since E75 does not get you a hell of a lot more than E50.
