Just got an email from Aeroplan (posted the entire contents in the TD Aeroplan credit card master thread), but here's the bit about priority boarding:
When you travel using an Aeroplan Flight Reward on a flight operated by Air Canada, Air Canada rouge or under the Air Canada express banner, your TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite* Card allows you to board early. Air Canada passengers will now be boarding according to zones clearly indicated on the Air Canada issued boarding pass. Your priority boarding benefit makes you eligible for Zone 2 priority boarding.
I assume the equivalent CIBC card will get the same...Priority services are unavailble to CIBC Aerogold Visa Infinite Privilege cardholders at LHR T2 when not flying on an Aeroplan redemption ticket. It is available to TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite Privilege cardholders only according to information posted at www.aircanada.ca as of today:
"Premium desks and dedicated full-service check-in are available in ZONE A for:
Super Elite 100K, Elite 75K, Elite 50K, Elite 35K and Prestige 25K customers
Star Alliance Gold members,
Customers travelling in International Business Class, Premium Economy Class or on a Latitude fare
Air Canada/American Express Maple Leaf Club card holders
American Express Aeroplan Platinum, AeroplanPlus Platinum and Corporate AeroplanPlus Platinum cardholders
TD/ CIBC Visa Infinite® and small business cardholders travelling on an Aeroplan Flight Reward
TD Visa Infinite® Privilege cardholders"

This is Sooper (Elite) Genius (as in the 'Wile-E-Coyote, Genius', business card from the Bugs Bunny episode, the only one where Wile-E ever spoke btw).
It would have been very helpful on AC848 the other night where boarding was a complete zoo.
