Only 10% on Dash.
My EYW#1 was same.
Noway I would do 45K+ on Dash not for measly 750K+ aeropesos.
Netted 750K+ travelling in style.

Not speaking for the cow but in my case I often find that a 35% off Market Fare award YYZ-YHZ, which is where I do most of my redemptions, is a better deal than a classic award, even with slightly fewer miles and IKK. I will hit Diamond by the end of next week now that the last lot of bonuses, which were all Distinktion valid, have just posted.

There aren't many benefits, but there are some.
All AQMs are DQM, so by being SE you're guaranteed dDiamond. I'm not worried about qualifying at all.
