77L's:
Fins 702/703/706 are completed
Fin 705 is in progress (may be completed)
Fin 701/704 are in the original configuration.
Aircraft assignment may change right up until departure date. Given the rotation of these aircraft, checking the day before should be reasonably accurate.

Flying YYZ-YVR next week and my return flight is on a 77W. When I originally booked it showed as the old two-cabin configuration, so I booked and paid for a preferred seat (19H). Looking at the flight today the seat map now shows it has been swapped to an HD, but when I sign in to my booking I was still shown in 19H, which is not a preferred seat in this configuration. I was able to make a change myself, but really AC how hard is it to keep customers who paid for preferred seats in preferred seats when there is an equipment swap??

Been watching this thread since it started, great job keeping it updated ^
Family and I fly out next Thursday YVR-YYZ and we are all in J and its a 77W HD aircraft, odds are low that it may be switched to a newbie as the wife has yet experience the new suites with the 18 inch flat screens. But I keep hoping

I think the point is that this shouldn't be an IT limitation. This is actually something that is really easy to deal with! The problem is a business case needs to be made to justify doing it. And inexperienced IT Directors don't know how to make a business case that shows saved time and frustration with Gate Agents, FA's, and Customer Service.

I really wish they code the 77W differently, like CX do
4 versions of 77W is just crazy. Luckily I'll still be on 3-3-3 77W for CDG-YYZ this month, whew

Even if it is a 777 route, the likelihood of you getting an old one is low at this point. There are only 2x 77W and 2x 77L flying in the old config (plus a 77W in maintenance).

777 route. A refurb one at that.
