eStore promos and dDiamond bonus?

eStore promos and dDiamond bonus?
Anyone know how these work out?
1. stack... say 100 miles base with a 3x promotion = 300 miles for promo, and 300 miles for dDiamond bonus = 600 miles.
2. highest... 100 miles base with a 2x promotion would only be 300 miles, since the 3x dDiamond earning rate is higher
3. multiplied... 100 miles base with 3x promo is 300 miles, then 3x dDiamond earning rate is 900 miles!
I think it's probably going to be 1, #3 in my dreams, but I could see them doing #2 quite easily.

In this case, there was a 2X promotion for Chapters/Indigo. I received the base miles once. I then received a bonus equal to the base miles for the 2X promotion. However, for the dDiamond Distinction 3X bonus, it only posted twice the base again. So, it would seem that it is partially stackable, with the base paid only once. So, in this case, I have a 2X and 3X bonus entitlement. I received the base + (3 - 1)X + (2 - 1)X, for a net earnings of 4X.

It's not quite either of those. I purchased $42 from chapters.ca through the e-store last week. Below is an image of how the points appeared in my Aeroplan account.
In this case, there was a 2X promotion for Chapters/Indigo. I received the base miles once. I then received a bonus equal to the base miles for the 2X promotion. Right, I'm only dBlack, and here's what I got, I bought $197 worth of stuff from indigo when there were a 2x promotion, with the double points for dBlack, I got a total of 3x base value.
If you spent $100, the dDiamond benefit would give you extra 200 points, making the total 300. In OP's example, if the promotion also give you 3x, then you get another 200 points, making the total 500, or 5x.
