Hi,

Looking to booked YEG-LAS. Expedia has good routing though DEN on UA metal but AC flight number. How do eUps work on this type of ticket? I cant seem to find the info that I am sure is already in this forum via search.

Oh, and it is also a "L" (Flex) booking class.

UA metal is operated by United Airlines.
eUps only work on flights operated by Air Canada.

It doesn't matter if the flight has an AC flight number. ONLY AC operated flights can be upgraded.

Opposite would work but only at the airport.

Upgrades with electronic or paper certificates have always been limited to flights operated by Air Canada.
