I haven't received yet. Yesterday, an AP CSR made up some stupid storey about how they are being mailed to everyone 'next week'.

I haven't received my Upgrades from December yet............

DRC99, do you actually need some now, or are hoping they'll be '02s? There seem to be lots [of '01s] floating around and I think I may still have a few myself.

Not yet, but my Continental OnePass Gold kit seems to have arrived for me at my parent's house in Toronto

You guys sure that "Elite" still exist come March 1?

In name only, so why bother with a kit (although I'm still waiting for AC to tell me what changes, if any, there will be to my Elite status starting in 23 days, and what impact it has on any flights I may have taken in the first 37 days of the year).

To put words in the mouths of the banditos over in Dorval, "Elite Kits? You don't need no stinkin' Elite Kits! You want a benefits guide? Take six blank sheets of paper and staple them together -- THAT'S all the benefits you're getting this year! You want a card with 2002 on it? Take a crayon and write a '2' on last year's!

I am pretty pissed about AC not giving the 50% Q miles to everyone who has flown since Jan 1 instead of Feb 1.

I haven't received anything....but then I'm in Hong Kong. Who knows when it'll get here.

Uh Empress are you saying that if you flew AC in January domestically or to the Caribbean you get 35% Q miles, but after Feb 1 you get 50%?? Tell me that AC is not trying that hard to get rid of their members. . .

Right on back seat... now you see why I am pissed!

Is there a way to roll one's eyes on here to show their utter disdain at Air Canada?

Here's the text of an email from Air Canada, indicating that E kits will be a few days later than the normal Jan-end:

Dear Ms. xxx, (note it's actually Mr., but since the first name is not obvious I'll let it go)

Thank you for taking the time to express your thoughts on the Elite
program benefits for 2002.

Addressing the issue of �no prior communication�, you may be aware that
Elite packages are usually released by end of January. This year, we
held back that delivery few days to ensure it would enclose the latest
benefits covered in the News Release of January 30, 2002, a copy of
which is attached. Any information related to Elites� benefits prior to
that date was therefore unofficial nor final.

We know loyalty is a fine balance and we hope that you understand that
we�ve listened and will continue to listen to our best customers�
feedback.
