I to have enjoyed flying AC in the past and wish to continue. Unfortunately they are pushing me away. Their is just no consistancy in the product especially on medium J travel, plus the benefits are vanishing. They are quickly driving us off into the arms of their competitors who are willing to comp us status, and upgrades from any fare. Air Canada must stress service and benefits for it's frequent flyers.

Invariably they must be watching their computer bookings to see how these changes are working. From what the posters here are saying, people here are having difficulty getting upgrades so in that case what difference does it make if the upgrade is from Q L V or h if no seat is available?

People voting with their feet is fascinating to watch, and more so the reaction of senior management in Montreal to these legitimate and generally constructive criticisms.

It's ironic that while other carriers are luring us away from AC, AC seems to be chasing us away.

I agree with statements such as the one SkyHawk has made, indicating that many of us would like to fly AC, its just so hard to have a relationship with a company if one feels "cheated on".

I am flying from YGK to SFO on thursday returning on Monday. If I was comfortable flying AC I would be able to fly YGK X/YYZ SFO. Instead I am going out of my way to avoid AC. I am flying YGK-YYZ on AC then changing to T3 where I will fly Continental YYZ X/EWR SFO and then SFO X/ CLE YYZ. Then transfer back to T1 for AC YYZ-YGK.

Life sure would be nice if I didn't feel an overwhelming need to show AC how I feel.

AC has been driving many of us away for a very long time; guess the frustrations have built up for far too long and they are starting to boil over. When I have tried writing to them, four months later, I would get a response with a nominal value voucher which is supposed to placate me. I think not. They seem to have no sense of how to deal with their FF's or even their regular flyers. It seems to stem from the top down; no communication, no customer service, no in flight service; ridiculously high fees; all for what....to drive us to other airlines. I would love to see this airline prosper. I am a proud Canadian and would love to feel that comfort in the air as well, not the anger and frustration that many of us bring with us while flying AC.

If we don't speak up, nothing gets done. Now, there is a very slim, but possible, chance of someone, somewhere, waking up before it is too late.
