Was just trying to point out "Y is Y" is a bit misleading; some Y is better than others, that's all.

UA 747s are dreadful. The rest is fine - no different than other economy, the entertainment system is ok. There is still wine and beer free on TPACs, nothing on TATLs of course.
Of course if the choice came to TK/SQ over UA - its a no brainer. But if the choice was AC vs UA (not 747!) - its also a no brainer - save the $300 scamcharge, and pay $100 for economy plus.
