AC vs 2R on Rapidair routes?

AC vs 2R on Rapidair routes?

Today was my day to muse about the future of the venerable Rapidair. Today I again encountered another senior executive that now takes the train instead of flying. I am wondering:
  • what is the future of Rapidair without jet departures from YTZ? (bearing in mind the increased delays and security formalities)
  • Has VIA1 traffic substantially increased lately?
[*]What determining factors do you think make someone decide to take the train over a flight? (bearing in mind that there are Super Elites that also take the train as an alternative)
