Question Do I need to re-check luggages in SFO? YYZ-SFO-ICN-TPE

I'll be flying with business reward redemption in Jan.
YYZ-SFO on UA 867 (in Y)
SFO-ICN on UA 893 (in J)
ICN-TPE on TG 635 (in J)

There's only a 1hr10min connection time in both SFO and ICN. At YYZ are the luggages checked all the way to TPE, or would I need to pick them up and re-check them in SFO?

It's too bad on UA 867, there are first class reward seats available (UA told me), in this 2-class configuration plane. But AE said I need to redeem a first class ticket to get that seat. Since it is a business redemption, she'll have to put me in econ seat for that fight. It's sounding like the chance to upgrade at the gate by UA is slim.

Your bags should be tagged through. Once you clear US immigration/customs you put your bag on the belt and they'll go onto your ICN flight and then onto your TPE flight

I would rather fly AC on that segment and pay YQ.
I think for a Transcon wifi and the pod J seat is worth YQ.

Thanks. Good to know the luggages can be checked thru to TPE.

The other direction I'll be on
TG TPE-ICN (on J)
UA ICN-SFO (on J)
AC SFO-YYZ (on Y)

Would I need to take out the luggage and re-check in SFO?
