Mixed E-Upgrade Question
Hi everyone,
A quick question for those in the know...
I have a 3-leg itinerary booked for my son and myself. I've e-upgraded the longest leg and am now out of credits.
My wife has enough credits to upgrade us both and we are listed as her e-upgrade nominees - she is not on the flights.
When I bring up the reservation using her login credentials, it shows us properly and also shows the leg that I upgraded already, along with the two legs that I'd like to upgrade.
However, it won't allow her to upgrade us - even though both are available.
Do I need to call the elite desk or is there another way around this ?
Thanks for any information anyone can provide.
Cheers,
Singlepoint
EDIT: dang, I don't know how to bold a title yet :-)

Travel using another member's eUpgrade credits
Currently, only one member may sponsor an upgrade per reservation. For instance, if a Super Elite and Prestige member are travelling together on the same booking, it is not possible for the Super Elite member to sponsor an upgrade for the departing flight(s), and for the Prestige member to sponsor an upgrade for the return flight(s).
Meaning you are using your eupgrade credits to upgrade your inbound legs, which is fine however your wife is trying to upgrade you on your outbound legs, which will not work because you can only have one member sponsoring per reservation/itinerary.

Hmm, it seems like a contradictory message between akide and hearna...
In my case, my son and I are returning from the US (leg 1), I've upgraded leg 2 (YYZ-YVR) using my credits, and leg 3 is a short domestic leg.
Ideally, I'd like to upgrade the both of us on legs 1 and 3 using my wife's credits (as I am out).
Thoughts..?
Thanks again everyone,

I dont think he understood what you where meaning, unless I didnt understand you.... you upgraded 1/3 legs and now have no credits left, so the system wont let you upgrade the other 2/3. Happened to me before, just call the desk and they will upgrade the other ones for you, if of course no additional credits are needed. IE yow-yyz-yvr is 10 (now 6) but if you upgrade yyz-yvr first, let it confirm, and have 0 credits, you cant upgrade yow-yyz as you have no credits even tho it is free, 10+0 credits.
