Mrs. RedTop used to have access to both MLL and the Premium Plaza lounge, and found the MLL not very appealing, but liked the PPL. I don't know exactly why - she doesn't drink - but I think she liked the food better and found it less crowded.

It depends what you are looking for
I have used the YYZ Premier Lounge, using my Amex card. Is it worth $35 for a single visit? It depends:
- the food is plentiful and relatively healthy;
- drinks are complimentary;
- you can use a computer with printer;
- the staff are friendly;
- there are nooks & crannies where you can catch 40 winks.
Hard to value, but if you don't have MLL access, the Premier Lounge is all there is!
