along the way, yes you miss out on them. but in the end you get them once the miles post.

Your scheme makes sense to me (although not sure if I'd be advertising it myself) but exactly how do you "start having your AE number removed"? Do you book flights without inputting it, or simply apply a bit of white-out?

have the GA remove your AE number, preferably in the computer not with whiteout or sharpie :P

Suggestion for Andrew Yiu and Aeroplan

The process described by NAJetset seems more like a scam than a scheme - one that Air Canada should look into given the info provided such as the YYJ location.
