Surcharges for HKG->YYZ
just curious and was looking up the roundtrip fares for YYZ->HKG with the 20% off asia promo, noticed that for the return leg if there's a stopover in Vancouver (AC8) compared to the direct flight (AC16) there's a $50 difference in surcharges
i'm not familiar with the fare rules or surcharges involved and the link from ac.com doesn't really explain it well, will be great if someone can tell me why

oops sorry, forgot an important detail, it's cheaper flying back connecting through vancouver compared to direct.... i can understand the reverse since there's prolly airport improvement fees and such...
