Agreed on Aeroplan uselessness. However remember that AC and Aeroplan are now different businesses. Aeroplan sucks big time and we should pray for its demise. (I know, unlikely to happen too soon. Still, does not hurt to spread the word.)

SOAP FAULT ERROR. CODE: fc:JWSError, REASON:com.bea.xml.marshal.XmlEncodingException:

Thank you very much for this information. I got the same error, spent all day upgrading my old OS and browsers, still to get the same *(@! error. The web support guy told me 1) that it was a timeout error since I had to complete the rez within 15 min. I said this was not the problem at all. Then he said 2) that my IE security settings had to be set to medium. I did this, but found it weird since Firefox gave me the same error. Anyhow, he told me to call back if it did not work, and so I did, and he told me 3) that this flight was not bookable online and that I had to call Customer Service. When I asked if there would be a fee, he said yes. (!!).

So I call, and they of course want to charge 30 bucks per ticket. After I mention that I saw the error described here, they relented, and I did not pay the 30 bucks. So don't let them get away with it!!

Sounds like they must have updated their interface.

Old errors resurfacing.

It's for sure a bug in their application. However, this type of error usually results from some unexpected content in one of the fields they're looking for. Do you have any non-English characters in your name or in the search you're doing or anything like that? Or is a field like your middle name missing or??
