Three new airlines
As posted on Canadian Press, AC is thinking about forming 3 new airlines. The unions are against this as they think that AC's motive is to reduce pilot's salaries. There is talk of a "vacation" airline, a la C3K.

I wouldn't be surprised if Air Canada turned Canadian Airlines into a no-frills partner and spin off it's older aircraft into a holiday charter airline. The Europeans have been on this kick for the last few years with "buzz" and "go".
