You can sit airside before immigration if you want, but there is nothing there other than some ATMs, bathrooms and a few vending machines.
Thanks for the correction.

If there is checked in luggage, you will need to collect it fairly quickly, and then clear customs. You are then landside.

Safaricom for SIM is outside T1A, as is Paul Cafe to the right (50m walk).

Thank you for this.

Is the Safaricom open 24 hours?

I'm arriving at 12:55pm from Canada via ADD, which was originally to land a few hours earlier. I am supposed to be catching a 4pm flight to Masai Mara from Wilson on the same day.

Is 3hrs enough time to clear customs, collect baggage, and arrive at Wilson in time for a flight? Unfortunately there are no options that get in earlier unless I can depart Canada a day earlier. TIA

Early arrival

Arriving at NBO at midnight and not flying out of Wilson until 730am. Seems like nothing is open at airport, anywhere to go and wait comfortably for a few hours rather than getting a hotel?

At JKIA, there are several cafe's open 24hrs. Pauls Cafe outside T1A, Costa Coffee outside T1E & Java outside T1B. You can wait there till 6am when you can grab a cab to Wilson airport.

We are thinking of just data as our contacts in Kenya for our day safari during our return leg stopover uses WhatsApp so just need data.
As mentioned above, we used Airalo for our eSIM (data only) and had zero issues in both Kenya and Seychelles. It also worked in USA where we had travelled to (from Canada) to start our journey. Seamless and easy for the most part if you follow the instructions.

I will be flying out of Terminal 1A on Precision Air to Arusha.

Am I able to access either:
1. Turkish Airlines Star Alliance Lounge (Terminal 1E), or
2. Plaza Premium Lounge (Terminal 1D), or
3. Aspire Lounge (Terminal 1B)?

If yes, how long would it take me to walk to my gate in 1A?

Thank you.

You will be able to access both lounges. The walk can take between 10-12 min.

Thank you so much for your prompt reply! I didn't even get a chance to finish editing my post to add the Aspire Lounge (Terminal 1B) - which I assume I can also access.

I am going to guess that the newer Plaza Premium lounge is the best of the three?

All 3 lounges you can access. Have not been to Plaza Premium, but hear it is good. Turkish is usually quite busy, as a number of airlines use it.
