"Holiflats" apartment hotel in Accra

Apparently this is a new accommodation option in Accra: Holiflats at Royal Airport Plaza. Has anyone experienced it or heard any feedback from others who have?

Don't quote me on this, but the new Holiday Inn's legal name is "Royal Airport Hotel" and just opened a few weeks ago. My guess is that this is related to that property somehow.

Is this a nice hotel, what other large, modern and safe business hotels would one recommend for a visit to Accra?

The most popular hotel in Accra nowadays is the Fiesta Royale (http://www.fiestaroyalehotel.com/website/).

The Novotel (http://www.accorhotels.com/accorhote...he_hotel.shtml) is typically impersonal and sterile, but centrally located.

The new Holiday Inn (http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/hi/1/en/hotel/accra) has gotten exceptional reviews although its early days now.

The African Regent (http://www.african-regent-hotel.com/) is another new property with excellent reviews.

The Golden Tulip (http://www.goldentulipaccra.com/) is a glorified whorehouse for half-caste Lebanese callgirls.

The M-Plaza (http://www.mplaza-hotel.com/) is opulent but slightly run-down.

La-Palm Royal Beach Hotel (http://www.gbhghana.com/lapalm.html) is a popular choice for leisure with excellent pool and beach facilities.

Labadi Beach Hotel (http://www.legacyhotels.co.za/content.aspx?h=25) is past its prime.

There are also a handful of smaller boutique properties that maintain excellent quality, but are too small to be considered significant players.

Any updates to this hotel list? I've got an upcoming trip and need to book a hotel.
