Cape Town or Vic Falls

Just wondering if I only had the choice to visit one of these places, which would you recommned. I'm originally from YYZ so I see Niagara Falls on a regular basis (2 to 3 times a year). Not sure whether the hike up to Vic Falls is worth it considering the great things I've heard about Cape Town. Would greatly appreciate your thoughts.

I have not been to either yet (traveling in May), BUT from all the reading I've done, I hear glowing reports of Cape Town and that it has allot to offer. So it was a MUST on our itinerary, whereas I happened to be able to fit one night at Victoria Falls in.

Mmmm, where to start? This is like asking "Do you prefer blue or bananas?". Totally different experiences. Vic Falls is majestic, wild and offers access to the outdoors and game parks in Zim and Botswana. Cape Town is a city, albeit a very beautiful city, with all the sophistication that that implies. It offers access to the winelands and the Garden Route and it can be much more conveniently included on itineraries involving other local destinations.

Two different categories - if you give more information on what excites you, we could respond with more meaningful ideas.
