Going to South Africa? Remember your mittens!
Record minimum temperatures throughout South Africa today :
Cape Town +7.0°C (snow on Table Mountain)
Johannesburg -7.0°C
Bloemfontein -10.3°C
Boy would I have liked to see the faces of the tourists in shorts stepping off intercontinental flights this morning at JNB!
I've seen them shivering at a couple of degrees above freezing, but seven below . . . wow!
