More visa-free countries announced for South Africa
Citizens of the following 7 countries supposedly will be able to enter South Africa without a visa later this year pending negotiations:

Seems like they're fixing to start an e-visa service in November, and that's when these countries might begin their visa-free status.

You're most welcome. And here's a link to corroborate it from the South African High Commission in Ottawa:
South African High Commission in Canada

A reminder that Canadian citizens (only) who wish to visit South Africa for tourism and holiday or business conference purposes only, for the period of 90 days or less are exempted from visa requirements. Engaging in any other activities without a valid visa endorsement will be regarded as unlawful.

Rumors are swirling around the Arabic twitter-verse saying that it'll be announced that Saudi and Emirati passport holders will be able to travel to South Africa visa-free starting on August 15th.
So far the closest semblance of proof that I've found is a tweet showing a picture of an official document decreeing the visa exemption for UAE passports. It's from the South African trade office in Dubai.
Edit: apparently I can't post Twitter links?

There isn't a major update on this, but the Twitter account for the Saudi Embassy in ZA tweeted (in Arabic) stipulating that Saudis will indeed be able to visit South Africa visa-free starting Aug. 15th. I looked for new pertaining to the UAE and NZ but found nothing yet.
Edit: I checked TIMATIC they removed the term "visa required" when I input UAE, Saudi and NZ passports whenever I put a date past August 15. And I tried inputting dates before the 15th and it showed "visa required."
I did the same test with IATA Travel Centre with before and after dates and it was the same.
