Absolutely this. Only 2-3 hour drive up to Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon and a bit further to Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Sedona, Four Corners. Some amazing scenery. The only real downside is these arent winter destinations (unless you are equipped for snow) so short enough window to visit given the flight schedule.

Its basically more seats, and therefore more award seats dirrectly from Ireland to west coast USA....and year round. Hard not to like.

Glad to see this route come to fruition. I was in an Edelweiss flight from FRA-LAS last year and it was filled with European vacationers including kids.
AFAIK, LAS only has direct flights to London and FRA now and I feel that EI will do well in this route.
