Using BA Avios
I am trying to book flight for 4 to AGP in Spetember and can get flights on EI with 290 in taxes - that is reasonable but from being on here I think the taxes ca be lower on BA. I have a separate BA Exec account but when I try to book it keeps routing through London. Do you have to phone to get EI flights if I transfer my Avios ? Can anyone give me an estimate of the difference in taxes on the BA site ?

Yes you have to ring BAEC. I'm not sure but I think the lower taxes loophole may have been tied off. But no harm in trying. Make sure they don't apply phone booking fee to you, this should be waived as not possible to book the flights using BAEC online.

I would call BA. I managed to get lower taxes on BCN-DUB-LAX. Aer Lingus was charging $400 in taxes and BA was charging $250.
