Earning for LH flight operated by SQ
Hi
I am about buying in a good price ticket arn-sin in business (for inbound transfer is in zrh, and for outbound in fra). long legs are operated by sq but flight number on the reservation starts with lx and lh respectively.
this is booking class P, which normally for metal LH does not earn any points in M&B (and for fra-arn i am aware i will get nothing). However is this a case if flight is operated by SQ? will i get miles for long legs as for P class for SQ (ie. 100% of miles) or nothing?

You will earn according to the operating carrier, in this case SQ. However the LH P fare does not have to map to SQ P. It is very possible that on SQ another fare will be used. You may want to contact SQ to determine what fare class is used by them (Or perhaps you can do so online when you look up the itinerary).

Unless it's an agent's special fare which it doesn't sound as though this is, business class on SQ earns 125% whether it's their lowest discounted rate of full flexible.
I think P in Singapore's own system is an economy fare earning 100% alongside Y.
