If you haven't been to Non-Schengen lounge yet though, be sure to give yourself some time there. Really great place.

Just to confirm something that I was wondering about myself: When booked on a joint LH/A3 ticket (issued by A3) I was able to upgrade the A3 segment through a bid. Coupon upgrades are excluded for these (And in this case there was no I class availability).

What was your bid like? Much more above the minimum bid?

Xandrios Did you try to apply the upgrade coupon after the LH leg was already flown, like we had discussed?
I bid 90 Euro - 5 euro above the 85 euro minimum bid on the AMS route.

85EUR ATH-HAM went through on Thursday for flight on Monday.
Interestingly, the minimum bid was 95EUR, which I started the processing for, then forgot about it. A few hours later when I retried the whole process, the minimum bid was lower at 80EUR (and I don't think I've seen it ever that low for this route), from which I chose 85EUR that went through.
Seems the bidding was quite popular on this flight, 6x seats filled up around the same time as my bid went through (aren't upgrades processed much closer?).

Coupon upgrades on the standby list are processed after the auction bids have been completed. So only if seats are still available after all auctions have closed coupons will be processed. Typically the auction upgrades happen from ~4 days before the flight (And is basically a continuous process as long as there is availability), coupons close much closer to the date of departure.

Received several invitations to bid for my past flight this month, the amount itself did not change. The lowest bids possible for BRU-ATH was 85 Euros and 75 Euros for ATH-EVN. Similar if not same amounts for the return flight.

Has anyone received invitations to bid on a flight booked with aegean pass? I'm pretty sure I never had
So far I've paid:
120eur LHR-ATH
35eur SKG-ATH
55eur MUC-SKG (decent deal I'd say)
I'd valuate an upgrade to European J in Aegean as 25gbp per hour as a decent deal. It's a shame they don't come with status miles like BA does
