While it's an odd little promotion, I think no one will top that really weird Marriott 'chose your room' one from a few years back where you'd click through and open up your hotel room door only to find giggle Japanese schoolgirls and such and the branding message seemed to be that the Renaissance hotels were a great place to shoot your amateur porn movies.

It's another classic example of Accor's launch first, test later (and probably not bother fixing it) IT mentality. And surely there are better ways of increasing brand exposure than creating these games, especially considering the negative PR generated by their failures and how this might outweigh the potential benefits. But let's wait and see - I might be wrong and these initiatives may result in additional exposure, members, bookings and revenue etc...

Just tried the USA game after receiving an email: 'Sorry, an error has occured.'

Went back to main game page and now asked to try again tomorrow. Waste of time.

Well there's only one 10K point winner each day (+ the final drawing), so the chances of winning are quite slim.

So it probably doesn't make sense to do the game the day each new city is released... huh...

No prize here either, but you can enter once a day, you only need to complete the city challenge once, and then simply click to see if you are a winner each day until the next city unlocks.

Been trying it daily, had no luck so far. Probably a waste of time, but you never know.
