they have dedicated chief in lounge preparing the food,
and to my surprise when i order latte it came with latte art, not those automated coffee machine latte.
when we request to have some water, all they served were evian glass bottled water.

What a lounge! The previous lounge took me back to the late 80s/90s decor with mediocre canapes. Now it's on a completely new floor with efforts on presentation of the canapes even. Excellent.

Just arrived at Pullman KLCC and happy to confirm the renovated lounge and rooms are state-of-the-art. There is so much personnel pampering the lounge guests (basically upon entering the hotel, you are "intercepted" by a lounge welcomer) you feel almost intimidated by the caring attention.
More details and photos to follow once I settle in (and sleep off the jet lag)

Room type availability seems to be imited to a standard room only in the flexible rate as of 01/2019.
Should we expect tis to be updated or is this a sign of a possible rebranding or anything of that kind?

I would say give it another 2 or 3 months . I looked in China today and about 15 plus Mercure-Sofitel brands we displaying no pricing from the 1st of January 2019. I would be shocked if so many hotels left. Also Fairmont Chengdu has no Pricing after 31st December. Yet it only Just opened within the last year so I suspect/hope many of them are Just not updated yet for 2019.

A couple of people mentioned in another thread that this hotel is strictly enforcing its stated policy (on its website) of restricting Club Lounge access to children over 12 years of age.
Can anyone who has stayed here recently confirm that this is true or is this a "flexible" rule ?

When I stayed there, there was nary a child in the hotel tower, and truly not one in the lounge (not even over 12 y.o. - seems like the only people under 35 permitted in the lounge were some of the staff ), but lots of families with children stayed in the "Residences" tower, which seems to have a separate lounge.
