Some good rates in Bangkok. I booked Mercure Soi 11 for 2,000 B , including tax ( based on 2 night minimum stay). Saw Sofitel advertised at 2,800B inclusive, but could not get that for my dates. Quite a few other properties on the list for Bangkok, plus Hua HIN and Chiang Mai, maybe elsewhere.
I don’t know if this will turn out to be super cheap, in the context of declining rates due to inbound downturn, but it was cheap enough for me to confirm.

...including the Pullman Sukhumvit for around $US70/night (2-night stay), but can you find the dates of those 2 nights for that price?
Perhaps the reason Accor have done away with the rate calendar is to make it much more difficult to demonstrate false advertising.

I only looked at Mercure and Sofitel for specific dates. I have to say that, while I’m grateful for the sale and points promo ( particularly in the context of Marriott’s big fat ZERO), actually doing the booking was a MEGA PITA: site crashing, repeatedly reverting to AUD rather than THB, error messages galore. My time is more valuable than the money saved ( well, at least it is to me...)
