bonus is applied on the classic level of your spending

tier bonus comes on top

no matter which level you have, bonus applies for all on the classic base

I understand it the same way as Macaron95: Tkel14 or any Platinum member would get 5000 base points = 1000 base + 4000 promo bonus. Plus the 1000 Pt bonus for a grand total of 6000.

no, you would receive your 5x on your classic earning on top of your tier bonus

let's say you earned 500 points based on your room rate, then you'll get 500 + 2500 (500x5) + your tier bonus

Nope. it is 5x, not 6x: you earn five times basic earning + tier bonus.
So, it is not 500+2500+tier bonus but rather 2500+tier bonus in your example.

First result, today

Points Accelerator 1590

Nothing about 5th anniversary promotion.

If I read well FlytheTail I should have 1590*4 more points.
I called and they will transmit my reclamation...

Just got credited a total of 16,000 points for this, then renewed for platinum the week after.

Would be interesting to know if this contributes to status renewal as well........

It is base points + (4x base points). So if your base points was 1000, the bonus points from the promo would be 4000. Since 1000+4000=5000, it is indeed x5.

Incidentally my promo bonus points failed to credit after 10 days (although the base and accelerator bonus did). I just sent in a missing points request through the link in the online account.

As for me, 2 weeks after. They asked for my statement although base and bonus had been credited... If no news in 3 days, I will PM to our Accor Concierge.
