Meaby i am wrong but we got the assurance that NOTHING would chance in the program starting ALL
earning points etc
In my opinion PLACES was a part of the existing program
It was for me in the beginning a interesting part of Accor
And why it stops ?
And i dont understand how complicated and takes a lot of time to put a hotel on the list ?
Off course i am not a experienced IT worker.

Considering that the update of the Airport Hotels List's badges is indeed quite complicated, takes lot of time and that the removal of the App in the stores is very close, we will not have time to deliver these updates.
Therefore, if you have some pending check-in, please contact the Customer Care.

There has been, to my knowledge, no notification of this change sent to users. Yes, that web page exists, but there has been no email or any other kind of direct notification from Accor to tell us to look there. Very poor communication.
Also, for those who use the web site, rather than the app, I guess we can assume that it will be closed down around 28 May, the same as the discontinuance of the app, but it's not explicitly mentioned.
(Wow. I just looked at Google Play. The app is rated 1.3/5! I've never even see an app rated that poorly before.)

Anyone, who has stayed at a MGallery hotel and used "Places", will have noticed that the hotel brand logo next each "check-in" has never been updated from the more Mercure like first mGallery one to the modernist looking (I call it the Hercule Poirot one). I would assume this would haven taken only a few moments.
And a further sidenote: if a hotel has been correctly set finally (eg airport hotel) and one has stayed there already frequently, there will be farewell jump in stays counting for the certain badge. Just happened to see that a hotel, which changed the Accor brand, and where I have stayed before and after the brand change did also revert several years in "Places" as well.

I note the use of past tense. If email were sent and push notifications done then they went to void, I have received nothing.

There are a lot of chances in the program and a lot is not clear enough.
Example SNU
We got some information but again the list of hotels we mis
questions why some hotels or brands are allowed to make their own rules are still not answered
I get the feeling that ACCOR becomes to big to fast !!

movenpick amsterdam
impossible to book by accor ,still have their own program and dont know when they become fully ACCOR
Accor meaby a good idear to make the basics good first
Ask your most valuable assets what is their opinion about things
do something with these opinions and give back what is chanching .
I do believe that Amy do her utmost to help us and especially the last week .
