Marriott is already years behind Hilton in changing policy on PCLN bookings. Hyatt too has not followed Hilton's policy change on PCLN bookings. It's been a number of years since Hilton changed policy.

Plenty of PCLN-bookings are bookings made where the customer actually knows the hotel in advance of booking and may even pick it. I wouldn't be surprised if customers choosing the hotel is actally the segment of PCLN bookings that has grown the most in the past year.
