Would be extremely interesting to see if a AA coded China Eastern flight would credit to QF. Personally I doubt whether it would happen.
Thank you for all your replies to my question. The flight has two codes: AA and MU. It is operated by a non OW airline. Although they are for the same flight, the price difference is really big. But I still have to buy my ticket from AA in order to be eligible for SC and points.
