Actual flight miles should be in the neighborhood of 17k for that trip. There is also the question of how you are going to upgrade to first (or BE, for that matter) for 50k skymiles when you only have 10k in your account.
I don't have the exact mileage quotes right this second but I will post them later today. Do believe that you are correct it is about 17k with no bonuses. but the "B" fare MQM details on Deltas website say that you get a 150% mileage bonus. That helped alot. As for the 50k miles for an upgrade to first, well I was actually considering buying them, and it should be noted that there is a 20% holiday bonus going on right now..
