I goof off all the time as I telecommute. That just means I have to work more hours than when I focus. Then I make up for it by working an 8 hour shift at 2am on a weekend. And the stuff gets done. Almost always in a time-slot that would not be possible in an office, when I just happen to be maximally productive.
