This happened to me the other week; the FA told the pax that he couldn't store his carryon's on the floor in front of him (bulkhead). The FA got on him before I could--"you could stow your items there if the pax behind you (me) doesn't mind you intruding on his foot space". [way to go Josh!!] Would you believe the guy actually considered asking?!?!
