Don't worry, on my latest LCC experience (AirTran), I was on a 1.5 hour flight, and having 3 beers was no problem at all. And they had good stuff...like Corona, Heineken etc.
Not that I'd asked for 3 beers, it's just that the FAs kept offering more and were very enthusiastic about doing their job, even though the flight was sold out.
