Yes, provided that the ticket is properly set up electronically when it was issued. Normally that is guaranteed, but DEL might be a problem. Also are you aware of the luxury tax in India which adds a huge amount (12%?) to the cost of any ticket in F or J issued in India? Makes a DEL issued ticket quite a bit more expensive. Makes the UK APD seem rather small by comparison -- and look at all the whining about that on FT!
