Is there anyway to find out if your booked on a reconfigured aircraft ahead of time? Like the day of, before you board the plane. I noticed that rows 25 DEF and the entire row 26 is blocked now for airport check in. I figured that I'll just book a seat in the front of the plane and when I find out the plane is not reconfigured, I'll just show up to the airport early and move into row 25 DEF.
I believe that row 25 , along with specific seats in the front, and sometimes specific exit row seats, have ALWAYS been blocked. My assumption was this allows for some flexibility for ticket counter and gate agent workers to deal with things such as lap children, special medical need passengers, etc.
