But I'm glad this thread got off to a good start. We're even starting to see people booked for Plat next year. My goal this year is never to pay more then $118 domestically (all-in) and $150 internationally (with DB210s), so I'll be waiting all year for the best deals. I've also accumulated enough milage (across many airlines) that award travel is starting to interfere with paid travel.

Do you like travelling, Steve, or is it just all about the miles? I think you need a good trip to somewhere great to remind you that what is at the end of the flight should be (in my humble opinion) more important than the miles that got you there. To me, the miles are just another tool to get more places.
