That's the thing. We are clearly not the target audience for this. I don't think it's meant to replace YUL for most travellers.
That said,
the greater south shore area has a population of close to a million. That's a lot of people for whom a trip to Montreal can be avoided. And many of them just go somewhere else in Canada to visit family ...
